WHAT IS HYDRO-FRACTURING?

We offer both single packer and double packer hydro-fracturing. For decades hydro-fracturing has been used to improve oil well production. Now Manosh uses this advanced technology to improve water yield in new or existing wells. With hydro-fracturing, we install a packer or seal at a predetermined depth. After the packer is installed, a high volume of water is pumped into the well under extreme pressure. This procedure opens up and cleans out the fractures in the rock, allowing more water to flow through them into the well. In most cases it's a far more economical solution than drilling a new well.
