OTTERBINE/BAREBO FOUNTAINS & AERATION PRODUCTS

Over the years we have dug more than 400 ponds. In that time we have learned a lot about the
care and maintenance of ponds.
Probably the most important thing to the health of your pond is proper aeration. Nature does not
always provide the best conditions though resulting in high algae content, sludge and unpleasant
odors. Not only is the pond an eyesore, it's useful life is drastically shortened.
One of the best, and most attractive solutions we have found are the Otterbine/Barebo fountains and
aerators. Not to be confused with decorative fountains these powerful units are available with
pumping capacities of sixteen gallons to three thousand one hundred gallons of oxygen enriched
water per minute. The higher oxygen content helps bacteria to break down unpleasant odors and
organic materials giving you a cleaner pond.
The Otterbine fountains are built to last of highest quality materials and backed by the Otterbine
/Barebo, Inc's limited warranty ( five years on non-moving parts, two years on moving parts).
We also carry the Otterclear and Ottershield lines.
Otterclear is an environmentally friendly treatment to help keep your pond or lake crystal clear. Otterclear uses naturally occurring soil and water bacteria to break down the primary food sources of algae including nitrogen, phosphorus and dead organic matter both in the water and in the sludge layer of your pond. Use with an Otterbine aeration unit to maximize results.

Ottershield lake dye turns you lake or pond a beautiful dark blue. It is packaged in premeasured, water soluble packages for your convenience and, is also available in mini paks for smaller applications. Like Otterclear, Ottershield is safe for the environment and will not harm aquatic life or water fowl. Click on the thumbnail below to see a larger picture of a large pond treated with Ottershield. Priced at $8.00 per packet or, $192.00 per case of 24 packets. Each packet treats 1/2 acre foot.
